Is there a work around this linking problem?

I recently unlinked my epic games account from bhvr account to because the ign was different than the one i was playing with. So, i unliked the account and I went to link another account but now it says that i have to wait till May 4th because it is different that the previous one. However, i believe these are the same accounts i just switched the epic name while it was linked. Does anyone have any suggestions?
