Thank you for reverting screaming changes
I genuinely thought this was a very unhealthy change to the game and I'm happy things will be going back to the way they are.
So, just wanted to say good job. Let's not have every topic on here be negative!

My only complaints about hooking was that screams start not when hook ripping through body, but after that, when survivor makes himself comfortable, grabbing hook and then start screaming. It's so silly. But why they decided to just prolong screams in first place... I don't know. Maybe change so screams start minute after hooking and last 30 minutes?

I also agree, I’m just really glad they change the screams back. The long screams were very annoying and also cause others mild headaches. So a very welcome change.

This is not about hook screams.
DbD has many different types of screams. The plan was to make screams from perks 3D, however these were limited to 19m. In order for this not to affect perks the screams needed to be able to reach a further range - hence the change. And the scream sound will also have changed to the "scared" scream sound, not the injured ones etc.

I agree I’m very glad they reversed that terrible change. Hopefully this is a lesson learned for the devs to quit making changes to elements of the game that people are not complaining about, but given the long history of this I am not optimistic that it’s the last time.
