Insidious Rework
I noticed killers have a rare walking animation (can only be done by slightly holding up on controller) which could be used for this rework
rework: press the active ability button to walk (same speed as a survivor walking or less)
while walking, you gain the undetectable effect until you press the active ability button again
you see the aura of survivors within 6-10m while walking
performing any action (M1 attack, breaking, vaulting) will instantly disable the perk
coming out of walking will disable insidious for 30 seconds
overall I think this would be more engaging than just standing still like it is now

I would rather bHVR change Insidious to have + 2 seconds of Undetectable time, like Lethal Pursuer. or something.
What you suggest would be better as basekit for Killers.

Both are honestly good options AND it would stop the whole easy stealth aspect of camping in basement. Have like 30 seconds of stealth at the start of the game until the first hit and the 2 seconds extra would be nice. Probably boost that up to 5.

Provide something of value and then we'll respect the "No".

Maybe how about this.
Insidious: Unlocks your stealth ability:
*Grants the Undetectable Status Effect for 60 seconds At the start of the Trial.
*Extends the duration of all other Undetectable Status Effects by 3/4/5 seconds.
Well, I like your concept of it, but in practice, it would be still niche, since you move at the same speed as survivors / slower than tier 1 myers and it deacitvates when you do something.
Im not mentioning about the aura reading, since the radius is small and survivors can see you from far away if there's no LOS blockers before you can see their aura.
Also there are more efficient stealth perks that make killers more dangerous.

Not every bad idea needs a glorified response. Some bad ideas can simply be dismissed with a "no". Turning Insidious into a undetectable perk that lets you run around at 4.0m/s is a bad idea, and that's that.

Well I feel this one is necessary. Please enlighten me on why it would be a bad idea. Perhaps a weapon sheath and unsheath to switch between it but give the survivor ample time to run if they notice?

its more of a fun/gimic perk. its not ment to be strong

Or just make the perk basekit but not working at all when someone is hooked. Would be more exciting as survivor since some killers would just stand quiet sometimes and jump scare you 😀
