PC - Medkit continues to heal even after all charges depleted

Step 1 : Boot the game
Step 2 : Play as survivor in a public match
Step 3 : Open a chest and receive a medkit with more than 16 charges (In my case, a yellow with 24 charges)
Step 4 : Use this medkit to heal yourself within the radius of a Boon: Circle of Healing
Step 5: Use the medkit to heal yourself again, but outside of the radius and/or the killer has snuffed the boon
Step 6: The medkit will continue to heal you even after its charges have been depleted. My controls are on toggle if this impacts it in any way
