Please reduce Ghost Face's base Night Shroud cooldown
Currently it sits at quite long 24 seconds, with one common rarity add-on reducing it by 6 seconds...
I think nobody would complain if the base cooldown duration was reduced to 20 seconds, and the add-on was nerfed to 2 seconds.

agree.

I’m all for it. I welcome any new buffs to Ghostface.

Nerf the add-on to 4 seconds instead and I'd be happy with it.

Only if they make his stealth break out more consistent. I'm staring directly at them with them in the middle of the screen while he's stalking me and it won't break them out.

Sure, more consistency would be great, a worthy sacrifice.

I think this would too just right for newer players, but for experienced players it would be too much of a buff. I typically run no cooldown add-ons and have no problem approaching from odd angles and having my power whenever I need it. The main problem is this would buff the boring (and at worst oppressive) 'ChaseFace' playstyle that low skill players tend toward. This would encourage actions that cause you to lose the match, as it makes you think committing to a bad chase is a good idea.
Newer Ghosties think "if I mark them then I need to get the down", and don't recognize the pressure it gives you to effectively 'injure' that survivor for 60s. That keeps them afraid and unwilling to contribute to unhooking, or doing dangerous gens. This gives you extra hook states without camping, and makes some of the Survs dumb enough to 3-gen themselves, with little to no input on your end. That fear is an effective tool left unused if you blindly chase them instead.
To be clear, I don't want this buff, because I foresee nerfs to come with it immediately, or down the line. Those nerfs are what I don't want. I think this is a poisonous gift that will deal more harm than good.
Ultimately Ghostface is an M1 killer. Do you throw to not get puked on by Plague, then giving her an easy down while getting puked on in a deadzone regardless? Don't do the same with playing against Ghostie. Hide at corners and spy on him, and if you have the least hooks then chase/stalk him so he can't Mark your more hooked teammates. Stay close to pallets and/or windows so you can loop him for days. M1 killers are getting easier and easier to loop with modern map designs, so you have no excuse to not run them for longer. While I agree, the stalk mechanic is inconsistent since they swapped from Client to Server sided, unless they choose to fix that and lean/stalk bugs, we have to work with what we have. Ghostie has plenty of visual and audible tells (unless you run against the bugged Pay2Win Rift cosmetic), so you should be safe enough if you pay attention.
