Mini rant because I'm sick of indoor maps on killer
I played 6 killer games tonight. I got indoor maps on 3 of them. That's a 50% rate for those keeping score. It wouldn't really be a problem if they didn't completely suck the fun out of so many killer powers. It's a dream feature of mine to be able to ban maps on killers unless there's an offering in play, because I shouldn't feel like I"m wasting an hour of game time not being able to effectively use the power of the killer I'm playing due to the map.
I know this is a bit of a "cool story bro" rant. But playing Billy and Wesker on Lerys will do that to people. You shouldn't be taxed in the form of BP to have a good chance at having fun via map offerings. And the reality is you do have to run map offerings, because holy crap this game is obsessed with RPD, especially if you dare to play a mechanical killer. This game has something like 40 maps and I somehow consistently get RPD 2-3 times in two hour play sessions. Give me a break.
Delete indoor maps. Play every trial on MacMillan, Autohaven, or Coldwind (minus Cowshed). Have a nice day.

Its entirely possible to use Billy's power on an indoor map, just takes some good timing and control.
You change up how you play it, I'm not going for long saw plays I'm going for short rev ups and flicks, trying to zone people to areas where you can saw more easily.
Bluff with your power more you'll scare people into pretty frequent M1 hits when they try to dodge the saw.
Most indoor maps aren't that bad except for RPD which is just a bad layout and design, midwitch aint that great either but still playable.

On the other hand, certain Killers excel on indoor maps, particularly stealth Killers. When I get RPD as Wraith, it feels like a free win. The RNG gods giveth and taketh away.

Damn, that’s unfortunate to hear. Anyways, I’m gonna continue having a blast turning every indoor map into a haunted house while playing as Ghostie, Myers, or literally any stealth killer. Hope you have better luck in future matches.

Indoor maps definitely suck for a few killers but then as someone else already said certain killers excel on them & I often see killers bringing indoor map offerings & thinking oh here we go.
Most of my killer rotation do pretty well on indoor maps but then neither Billy (who i've always sucked with) & Wesker (who I still haven’t used) are in my killer rotation.
As a survivor I also really hate getting an indoor map (regardless which one it is) & from my own stats kill rates overall are higher on indoor maps (again varies killer to killer of course)
Good luck in your next run of maps though.

I can understand disliking them on certain killers but overall I vastly prefer indoor maps. They're some of the better designed maps in my opinion.
They have enough LoS blockers to discourage hold w game play and call outs of your location to swf players. They also generally have way less abusable loops and much more that are balanced. I would say they in general play out differently as well, whereas most outdoor maps are a lot of copy/paste same layouts with just a different splash of paint on them while all still playing decently similar.
In terms of fun and balance I'd almost always prefer an indoor map on either side.
