March update is this an April fools prank?

This might not reach anyone but I been playing DBD for over a year now so I’m not a veteran player on it but it has been a game that I been obsessed with since I started playing and I really enjoy it especially with friends BUT this new update is ridiculous like it basically toward Killers main. What is the point in using boom if someone has to heal you? What is the point in using a med kit and it’s perks if we can only use it ONCE? And now we have to unhook someone to use DH there was nothing wrong with that perk. Literally these changes make it impossible for survivors and not everyone who plays wants to do Gens some people ACTUALLY like looping/ chasing. This game is become a KILLER MAIN instead of what it’s purpose was. The community never asked for these changes yes some perks probably needed to be tweak but completely changing the healing process ya no. Nobody is gonna wanna play unless they main killer. I hope you can listen to the community and fix this.

Have you not noticed how HARD the gen perks got slaughtered? There’s basically no good slowdown left for killer to run now.

you don't need stacked slowdowns if you're actually good at the game though. I literally run Ruin on Myers as my only gen regress and get 3ks just fine.

Huntress with no slowdowns (although she doesn't need them) and I get 3ks and 4ks

Nurse.... well she's just busted so you can run anything on her and win.

The point is, those slight nerfs to a few gen regression perks pale in comparison to the massive survivor nerfs

killer has like, no good slowdown perks anymore. the nerfs that happened were all asked for-you couldnt go two threads down without seeing "nerf dh nerf coh" and any competent player knew medkits were hands down the best item in the game. these are all great changes-though the pain res nerf was a little much

you can disagree with dead hard's nerf, but can't say there was nothing wrong with it

I think the boon nerf is fine IF they buff its range

A medkit still is useful even if you can only use it once, I run brown medkits a lot and they are still gamechanging

Hate the 24 second heal tho, it already requires two survivors

No they don't? The meta slowdown perks were all nerfed very hard, just like the survivor perks. Neither pale compared to the other.

Against really good survivors, you do need some form of slowdown. But the healing nerf should, or at least is supposed to help with that, which is why the slowdown perks needed to be nerfed. But survivors will continue to have very good perks, such as the other exhaustion perks, which will now just see more use.

The CoH nerf I do think is bad. I wish they just reduced the bonus healing speed a bit more but kept the self healing, as that was the perk's most important use. And with healing times increased, CoH especially wouldn't have been much of a problem anymore. In fact, even with 50% increased self healing speed, it would have probably taken one almost 30 seconds to self heal, so CoH wouldn't have been a problem anymore anyways.

I'm so glad my friends pretty much quit this game. I play like 5 matches per day and I'm done with this game, it's getting unreal with the nerfs, buffs, bs, just fix the game itself instead of nerfing things. Unreal.

Don't pretend you're the community, many people in this community have requested exactly these changes. You ask what the point is, the point is balance. Plenty of people play this game just fine without using Dead Hard, Circle of Healing, and Medkits. If you can't, maybe you were just using them as crutches.

If you were here before CoH, you'd realise what an impact it had on the game.

The best healing perk before CoH was Inner Strength (now Inner Healing)

Inner Strength consumed one totem and gave you one heal, and this was efficient!

Giving an entire group of survivors the independence to heal themselved for the cost of one perk out of sixteen, indefinitely, single-handedly overturned the entire healing landscape, and essentially deleted 'hit and run' killer playstyles.

Every successive nerf to CoH's healing speed since has been like pissing in the wind compared to the fact that survivors simply don't need to work together to stay healthy anymore.

I don’t use them as crushes and half the people don’t even like the new changes it’s my opinion on it will they who do anything probably not just it’s basically killer main
