There still needs to be an increase to base generator speeds
After this upcoming update, killers will have all but lost any substantial generator defense perks. COB, Overcharge, and PR have now all received major nerfs. Having a nerf to med kits is nice when it comes to chases, but four generators can still be completed within less than 3 minutes should a coordinated team have the right perks and items. I played a match the other day where three generators were done within 2 minutes, and I don't seem to be the only one noticing this problem.
I'm all for meta shakeups, but base numbers also need looking at again.

What’s funny is Pop is now the best gen kick/damage perk, and CoB OC may still be used not because they’re good, but simply because there’s nothing better to use, so might as well, especially on someone like Hag or SM who defend areas.

As much as I want to agree that controlling gens will be harder, I also think about how boring doing gens is, nobody wants to spend more than 90s on each one, and even that is already boring as hell, so idk.

90 seconds is really enough. The problem is all the ways survivors circumvent those 90 seconds. Though since they can't heal so quickly anymore, those 90 seconds might be more valuable now.

It's definitely a mixed bag for sure. Even tweaking tool boxes would be better than nothing. That, or rework the increase speeds that more than one survivor have on a single generator.

This may also enforce gen rushing even more, though. If survivors aren't running perks to make healing easier to provide, such as Empathy, Empathic Connection, Botany, etc., players just *won't heal*. They will instead be an M1 sl**, making the game even more unbearable for both killers and survivors alike.

If they don't heal, that just makes it easier for a killer to come along and whack them. Which will now be easier thanks to the Dead Hard nerf.
If they ignore all healing and genrush, then it's up to the killer to put them down for it.

Did the increase in healing time fly over your head or something...?

Did you literally not see where I said that the nerf to healing helps chases? Regardless that's not what this post is about. It's about generator repair speeds, and the fact that either the base speeds or the perks and items that aid them need to be adjusted.
