Great Music You Probably Didn't Know About
Everybody knows giants like AC/DC, Tupac, Leonard Cohen or Pink Floyd, but what about smaller, talented groups? Their music, despite beautiful and valueable, is not known by many. Let's post some good, not known, music in this thread!
Rock

If this song wasn't made by a Polish group, which, of course, only Poles and some music maniacs know, it would be one of the world's hits.

A Hungarian Uriah Heep, if I may call them like that, is well known among former communist countrties, but the rest of the world? Almost nobody heard about them.
Oh, I would forgot, Kanye West stole a sample from their song (this one, to be clear).

Another band from Poland. This one is a very unusual kind, progressive rock with the Middle Eastern roots.
Black Metal

This Swiss band... Well, not band, because there is only one guy, who plays bass, guitar, drums, synthesizer and sings, is doing a real great work.
You may know this song from Brutal Legend.
Heavy Metal

San Francisco, the beautiful city of hippie movement and nice architecture. But not only! 'Frisco is the home of Brocas Helm - a talented heavy metal band.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EaBcKfc3cH8
Another American underrated band. Great vocals, great guitars, great drums.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pipMEAUsNYw
Belgian Ostrogoth, is the perfect example of European heavy metal. Hard riffs, sharp vocals and galloping drums.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M8WFl4Mo1yM
America strikes again. This time the Omen is in charge.
Folk Metal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e7kJRGPgvRQ
Finnish Korpiklaani is like a blast of power sourcing from the woods. And vodka. And the spirits of the ancestors.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_1lXdLus2WI
This one is not as happy as the previous. It is not about alcohol too. Only blood, pain and war. And I love it.
Russian Turbo Polka Metal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BVWfqOSdzs4
Okay, the genre of this band is performed only by them. And they are from Vienna, not Russia. But... Listen to it, you will want more of the Russian Turbo Polka Metal in your life.
Pirate Metal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggyC0FOzqHM
How many of you have been wondering how would Jack Sparrow look if he'd live in our times? How would he look if he'd sniff a whole highway of meth? Now you have answer. And that answer sounds good.
Thrash Metal
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1y6Fj8q7HjE
Who would have thought you can gain this magical voice by drugging a lot of "acid"?
That's all for now, I will add more (in the comments, probably) when I find more time!

Very talented guys (brothers, if I remember correctly). They compose music for films and trailers(Simpsons, Lucifer).https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJg4OJxp-co
Okay, this is not an unpopular band, but still many people haven't heard about them, and they should. This band is one of the greatest bands of our times, mark my words. Led Zeppelin II, you say? Maybe. But Robert Plant gave them his blessing.Another +18 YT video, beware, o' children!
Speaking of bands that brings the 70/80s vibes the first (with Led... uh, Greta Van Fleet) band I have on my mind is Enforcer. Great '80s heavy metal style band.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CwDJv5aBSq0
Have you heard about Camel? This 70s is, despite being great, forgotten. Don't know exactly why they weren't as popular as their collegues, but this thread is definetly a place for them.https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=54H3EUAzpVg
I have 6 budgies in my room. 5 of them are smart, kind birds and one of them is a Budgie album. Now guess which one of them screams louder?https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f5V0VbBgkbU
They, despite being formed in 90s, sound like 80s heavy metal. #########? Maybe, but the term "#########" gains new meaning.0 -
Al Bowly is criminally underrated, i recommend it to everyone who likes pre WWII era music
(he is the one who sings "midnight the stars and you" at the end of The Shining)

Jack Stauber is also fantanstic, his artstyle and music both are simply fantastic, very creative pal that definetely deserves more attention
(well, he is known for "peppermint" that got a lot of attention for being one of tik tok meme songs)
