Dead hard nerf is a buff for most survivor

Yh it was a good perk, but many survivor were not experienced enough to use it. So they are better off with sprintboost, lithe or balanced landing. (They also take skill but you get also value if you are not a good survivor)

    At least they can still use dead hard. The chances of your save not being safe is harder to get thanks to the borrow time base kit.

    people saying that dead hard is “dead” are literally just acting like babies. It’s not dead, it was reduced

    Dead hard went from a skill based perk with unlimited use to a perk that is now only useable up to 6 times if lucky

    Not only is it 6 times max if lucky you also get exhausted when using it so if the killer missed you it is still activatable but now you have to wait 30-45 seconds without running for the perk to be usable again while being chased by the killer

    And now that it is an exhaust ability again it can now be hit by fearmonger again

    dead hard is pretty much worthless and it is better to use the other exhaustion perks now

    It's like WGLF and MoM had a baby now. - And I frankly don't understand how it's still an exhaustion perk. Exhaustion was added to add a cooldown --- but since it now has an activation requirement and can't be used consecutively the cooldown is redundant.

    I mean, I don't feel very strongly about DH either way. Never really used it as surv, never really felt I had too much of a reason to complain about it as killer after the changes in summer. It was annoying in certain situations - but lo and behold; chances are those very situations are now the only situations where it's viable to be used. If you can't use it more than once or twice then you better make sure you only use it when you get guaranteed value. --- To me the changes seem just way too desperate to really make sure it's in the gutter and doesn't get another phoenix moment because other perks are just so bad they still can't compete.

    survivor mains said the old dead hard was dead after the change. It didn’t die. It changed again, I highly doubt it will die

    There will always be people using it for sure. I mean there are also people who play with self-care. That doesn't prove that this perk is still good.

    Dead Hard's first rework was actually a buff (only harder to use) It just took people a while to realize it. Now it is ineffective with its precondition.

    The same thing happened back then with Old Ruin. Killer mains screamed the end was near. Afterwards they realized that the new Ruin was actually better. What happened? They nerfed it from 200% to 100% regression. There are still people playing with it, but it's not really good anymore.

    I mean, if you were using DH more than 6 times in one game, you're the problem and the reason for this nerf.


    Personally, I never use DH, but I DO use niche builds, such as an unhooking build with Renewal, We'll Make It and Empathy. DH fits in there quite nicely now.

    What do you mean "exhaust ability again"? It was always an Exhaustion perk. It could always be affected by Fearmonger. Do you not even know how Dead Hard works?

    Dead Hard works exactly the same as it always did, it's just going to have an additional activation condition so it can't be used all match from start to finish. But apparently having to earn your second chance is far beyond the abilities of the average DH user.

    Oh great, can't wait to feel like I'm back at grade 20 after all these years watching everyone walk everywhere to keep their SB ready.

    How is it possible that BHVR constantly finds new ways to nerf SoloQ? DH will still be a huge annoyance for killers facing SWFs that can coordinate the saves.

    I actually never use DH I stopped using DH like 4 years ago but I can still see that it is a problem that they over nerfed some perks like eruption dh and coh

    I thought they took away the exhaustion from the perk and made it a you have to mend to reactivate the perk. Tbh I haven't used DH in like 4 years so I didn't pay to close attention to it I just remember reading that they had planned to remove exhaustion from it

    The guys who walk around with sb all the time, didnt hit one dh. Maybe once against a nooby killer.
