[EDIT] SOLVED! Jeff had a clawtrap. It's an intended feature I wasn't aware of.

Platform: PS4

Killer: Skull merchant

Map: Eyrie of crows

Perks: Hex: huntress lullaby, beast of prey, territorial imperative, and hex: undying.

I was chasing Jeff. Upon vaulting a pallet, the pallet broke after him. (see attached video clip) Jeff's perks were lithe, distortion, prove thyself, and circle of healing. This was the only time it happened during the match.
