Tome changes
So they revealed that any original chapter will receive a tome in the following mid chapter of its launch. I hate this change tbh as it leaves a some characters as the forgotten few who will have to wait until a licensed chapter for their chance
The most notable ones are Slinger, Oni, Artist, Haddie, Elodie, Felix and most notable Feng who somehow was never the star of a tome. New chapters already have a lot of lore so I don’t see the need in expanding on them so early. For example knight’s tome doesn’t really give him anything new as his base lore already covers his entire life. Characters like Oni or Slinger have much more potential for a amazing tome to be made
Also since we have 2 survivors this time around I wonder will they be put together or will only 1 be picked?

As a Zarina main it's so disappointing she won't get her own tome.
They should do 2 survivors and 2 killers like they did for rift 2 and 3. Then, as long as they don't continue to release 2 survivors at a time, they can give new characters and old characters tomes. No more leaving out the lesser played characters.

Yeah, i am also really disappointed.
Oni and deathslinger have so much potential for amazing stories. And the fact that my main Jeff's chances of a tome just skyrocket to almost zero. Really makes me sad.
This new chapters already have the biggest amount of lore right when they release. Putting a new story so quickly without giving them time for people to warm up to them, feels forced and pointless. Like it's too much of the same next to each other.

It feels like this is probably a ploy to make you buy the new chapter, because it's so much easier to progress in the Tome if you have the featured characters.
Also, it obvsiously doesn't hurt me for there to be lore in the game, but I feel like the amount of info getting dumped on us about new characters is now kind of excessive? Like, revealing it through the Tome was somewhat interesting, but now it's just pages and pages of stuff as soon as the characters launch. TBH, I wish they would find a way to reveal it through gameplay. Like, maybe if you play the character more often, you unlock part of their lore, or if you collect something in-match.

It's a disservice if you ask me. Adam, Jeff, Zarina, Oni, and Deathslinger are all really cool characters that deserve their own tomes. Haddie and Elodie too since they're supposed to be paranormal investigators, come on, that's so easy to work with!
And I have little faith that Skull Merchant's tome will do much to improve her character.
