Pain Res shouldn't be changed

As much as I dislike the perk it's something I feel like shouldn't be changed or lowered to that much it entered the meta again because of stuff like DMS but here's the thing a way to help fix it don't have a token based system instead just have it where survivors don't scream or something I know it's not an amazing solution but it's better then basically killing off the perk. With the few matches I had playing killer I can see why some people bring it since it prevents gen rushing but also just helps with how match making is right now for killers.

    No, sorry, it had high usage rates. That means it has to go.

    This is the most sane way to balance and design a game.

    Okay so then nerf stuff like DMS or Floods of Rage or basically any perk in the game. I get that some perks have usage rates but it's called the meta people wanted Lightborn nerfs yet that never happened. Stuff like Lethal pursuer gets high usage should that be nerfed? A perk should be nerfed if it basically makes the game impossible. The reason why something like dead hard is being used all the time is because it's reliable once you realize the survivor has it you will go out of your way of just forcing them to use it now it has just a requirement. Perks get used all the time soon enough the new meta might have Sprint burst then that'll be nerfed I hated dead hard but learned just to deal with it like how I have to deal with Wraith. In the end it doesn't have to be nerfed to none usable it can just be tweaked to just have some kind of requirement like who knows maybe it just has a cool down or the Scourge hook will change locations so the killer can't go back to the same one or pull a eruption where it removed an effect like the survivor doesn't scream but their aura is revealed instead.
