Circle of Healing
Circle of Healing needs a name change if you cannot “Heal with it”. Why are they making every good survivor perk useless? The game is already Killer sided. Iron will changes, Wiggles, Boil Over, Flashlights, it goes on. Whyyyyyyy??????

Changing a healing perk to where you need medkits or another person to heal you to use it is the height of stupidity. Why waste a perk slot when you can just bring a medkit or get a heal from a teammate anyway?

CoH was one of the dumbest perk ideas BHVR ever came up with and it was just so much stronger than pretty much every other healing perk because it allowed the entire team to self-heal in 21 seconds which was much more efficient than normal healing especially because it didn't require 2 survivors to be off of generators like normal healing does.
There was no good way to fix the perk without changing how boon totems work as a whole (which is something they need to do because boons are a mechanical failure). Since that hasn't happened, it will now sit in the trash pile with all the other boons for the most part.

CoH is hard to actual balance.
Say healing each other should take less time than self heal.
Giving ability to self healing without speed boost still let survivor to spread pressure.
Giving speed boost without self healing would make healing too fast.
So they remove Self healing ability. While keeping Speed boost, but since its would be still powerful for survivors healing a teammate for 12sec.

You are simply inside your on box. boons have 0 real counter play, CoH was simply the only one consistent enough to run every game.

I've only seen a handful of killers use shattered hope in my playtime. so it can't have been that big of a problem.

Are you for real? How is the game killer sided?

But you can heal with it...?
That's the whole thing it'll do after its nerf, it'll let you heal faster. It's still healing if you're healing your teammates, that is still what you are doing and what word you would use to describe the action.

It's the same reason as unbreakable. It has a strong effect but you have to go vs a certain playstyle or in this case perk in order to get value. Plus one killer perk to counter a single survivor perk for one survivor is a waste of time. Simply put, It's better to ignore the boon, take the L in that regard and focus on other things rather than waste a perk slot dedicated to it. It's like running franklins because you see 3 med-kits, it might help but other perks are more worth regardless of how strong 3 green med-kits can be.
If I have to walk to the west wing office in rpd to break a boon even though the gens are gone, that's a huge waste of time.

Circle of Healing is.... a circle.... that improves healing.
Why does this need a new name?

Circle of (come) heal me.

So because nobody is bringing BT anymore and barely anyone uses OTR, tunneling cant really be a problem, right.
And camping is no problem because nobody bothers to equip Reassurance, got it.
3 -
Based on nightlight, OTR is the 11th most used perk. BT is obsolete.
Reassuarance is in its current form to bad to prevent a killer from camping.

Circle of (I Need) Healing!

If I remember correctly, nightlight only tracks stats of registered users, so... And even if not, 11th spot is pretty low compared to the widespread complaints, should be at least top3.
BT is not useless, just everyone got lazy because of the basekit implementation. If more people would use if, killers can no longer count to 10 and down the survivor again.
And no perk in the future of DBD will PREVENT camping, its all about punishing it. Two uses of reassurence can get you an easy 3man out against a hard camping killer, whereas otherwise the match might end in 3 or even 4k.
