i personally think that many survivors would love a red flashlight or medkit or toolbox

    That would be great, but what would be better is a new player item. How about an item that scares the killer or interacts with the killer in some way. People only use flash lights and med kits developers can be more creative and introduce new player items in my opinion but I like the way you're thinking change items to be more fun.
