Repairing generator sound re-work?

This hasn't been changed in a long time but I've always hated how my survivor is just caressing the generator but you can still hear gears turning, clicks and clacks like you're doing something. The only sound that is synced up with the animation is the valve turning, panel touching and the lever pulling, everything else is just strange sounds coming from nowhere. 🙄
