Hi, with the upcoming changes announced, I would like to download the PTB so I can give first hand feedback instead of relying on watching other people. I've never done it before because DBD took too much time to download, however I'm positive it's been optimized a number of patches ago.

So here's my questions:

Does participating in the PTB mean I'll have to re-download the entire game to leave it ?

Is it possible to test the changes against bots in the PTB ?

    Joining the PTB requires downloading the PTB build and then a second download to go back to the Live version, however I believe it's not a full download of the game from scratch, I think some files persist between the two versions.

    Regarding the bots, you will be able to use Survivor bots in Custom Matches to test out the Killer changes, just like you can do on Live.
