How are you supposed to dodge a basic attack

So I'm facing a huntress and have to dodge basic attacks four times now I'm at a pallet and she swings down not using any hatchet by the way and I drop the pallet while she swings down AKA PREVENTING AND DODGING A BASIC ATTACK FROM HITTING ME. So explain how then I didn't get a single bit of progress on it.

I feel like this challenge is mainly designed for people who use keyboards because doing a 360 on controller can happen but it's extremely difficult to do so I want to know how am I supposed to dodge a basic attack when pallet stuns when the killer swings down doesn't count and vaulting windows doesn't work either because I still get hit 3 miles away from the window.

    Does it also count if the killer swings while carrying someone?

    Haven't tried it myself - just wondering.

    I got it by being on Midwich and being on a different floor from the killer. Still counted as me avoiding their attacks.

    If the killer hits someone and you're nearby, it counts as a dodged hit.

    If you're injured, and the killer is definitely going to catch you, run past a locker and jump in just as they would go for a lunge. Don't make it obvious you'll jump in the locker (by running straight at it), or the killer won't swing.

    If you're not injured, you can try to take loops towards strong windows (like shack), and try to pace yourself so that the killer goes for a risky lunge as you vault the window.

    Another good way is to run MoM, Breakout, Circle of Healing, and Sabo, then try to bait the killer into basic attacks while carrying a survivor.
