Solo queue will always be a mostly bad experience
It doesn't matter if you add
- Gen auras to see what gens your teammates are doing
- Basekit empathy
- Basekit kindred
- basekit ds and otr
- basekit gun for every survivor
Your random teammates will always be either stupid or crybaby ragequitter or both.

yesyes take all infos away and i bring 4 well player in a swf, they will still play very well and nearly all killers have no chance, they have decision making (the real skill info)
its matchmaking issue, dbd has no matchmaking anymore, yeah for hundred hrs players its "wow high mmr" but if you have 5k+ hrs and you playing well you will see how bad that mm is, As an experienced player, I can recommend every experienced player who has left not to come back and everyone else finds a game that really matches you with others on your level, it's no fun to play with bad players and also have bad and new players no desire to play with "swartys" every game has something where you can work your way up, cs from silver to global, league from iron to Challenger, in dbd it would be from Facecamp Bubba to "high mmr" in a few days xDD you should understand bhvr if people then made fun of the matchmaking, because you see it clearly visually like, emblem system from rank 20 to rank 1 in few day

True, true, true, true, TRUE. That's why all this "iT's AfFeCt SoLoQ" is white noise for me. Only problem with soloq is teammates. I made topic about it too

Solo q will always be unpleasant due to bad teammates and killer tactics that need coordination to stop consistently. I agree it no fixing it. Just swf

People will stop complaining about solo queue when survivor becomes fun.
The reason why I've always predominantly stuck to killer is because with survivor you're wasting 3 minutes of m1 holding per 1 minute of fun. completing gens needs to be more interactive, 20 seconds of M1 holding per gen would be fine in exchange for 60 seconds of running around getting parts for your gen and evading the killer.

This is Dead by Daylight 2 stuff. I don't think the core survivor gameplay will ever be that interesting, and I don't think most of the playerbase wants it to be. They like that they spend most of their time sitting on a gen not interacting with the killer. It lets them focus on other things, like talking to friends. Streamers particularly like it.
Not me. I only play DbD for killer these days. Always engaging, even if it can be frustrating at times.

MM can't work if skilled players can't beat weaker ones. Skillful play as a soloq survivor is not impactful enough to carry games without resorting to playing lonewolf. Outside this the only real issue is how effective camping
is and also looks like we were hinted a status icon to notify players the killer is near hook.My thoughts on MM as a soloq player
Edit: Thought it was from PTB but was a leaks discord

I agree these changes will likely never happen unfortunately, all I can hope is that Behavior either adds official modding support, or adds extra gamemodes.

Solo will always be inferior, but there's no reason for it to be this bad. I've said it before: fast queues are not a feature when the matches are terrible. Every other game I play gives players the option of casual or competitive. It's not a perfect solution by any means, but I'll take competitive over quickplay any day of the week. It's not fun for me when teammates are somehow getting grabbed off a 40% gen by a Doctor who doesn't have TR radius perks. I'll play killer or wait until my friends get on. A player's escape rate shouldn't be dropping by 30% in solo queue. That tells me there's a matchmaking issue.

They are missing a ton of features most other games have and its been over 5+ years. Its pretty..pathetic they haven't added in things to bridge the gap between SWF and solo. I mean, the fact we JUST got the new icon UI is a testament to how slow they are when it comes to game balance & health. At this rate, we'll have a lot of whats missing in 3-4+ years.

I would argue it's a problem of
* Challenges encouraging survivor players to throw out the gate if they want to maximize their challenge gain per game(for killer this is true as well but it's one person's decision impacting themselves vs one person's decision screwing over three people who want to play a normal game as an example)
* An awful teaching system and experience for new players. Who is going to know and understand looping + killer powers + killer perks + survivor perks + map memorization. The game does nothing to help with this. You either care enough about the game to look up vids/forums/content creators and learn these things or you continue to play "in the dark" and are probably a net negative to your team.
* An awful MMR system that puts people with thousands of hours against players they have no business facing, but in the name of fast queue times the game slaps them together(this was true even prior to MMR. Rainbow ranks and screenshots players posted here regularly of them being a green rank vs a red rank team/killer)
* Camping and Tunneling being awful to experience and needing a team to deal with but unable to communicate well. Players just rage quit rather than play multiple matches getting camped if they are unlucky.
