So theres 12 box checks for the 4 traps.

what happen if :

you put add on that add traps. for exemple you have 5 or 6 traps instead of 4. Does it mean 12 box checks over 5/6 traps or it add some box checks ? If it doesnt add, these add ont are pretty bad!

Use the amanda letter ? Does it mean the 2 traps are 4 box checks guaranted ?

If you use addons that change the number of traps, it adjusts the number of searches accordingly.

By default it's 12 searches across 4 traps, or an average of 3 searches per trap. So with 5 traps, this becomes 15 searches, 6 traps, 18 searches. With Amanda's Letter (which takes 2 traps away), then there's only 6 searches total.

yes, you will have the 12 attempts globally distributed by the amount of rbt's you have with the addons that allow you to load more than 4, so it's not really worth it because more traps will be removed in 1 try

I miss the old pig with the 4 boxes and a certain one (and not these 5 boxes grouped together), I felt that the 4 searches were more common than now, nerfed in >>Basekit<< because of game design abusers with the video tape addon ("strat" afk pig) and could be fatal (than mere delay tools like actually with only 4 traps)

yeah, I had read that at the time, I just hadn't realized about the addons, my mistake, and thinking here wouldn't make sense 12 attempts when you use the addon that leaves you with only 2 rbt.
