Ps4 framerate?

Anybody feel that console framerate is a tad low and clunky? I just want to hear from others as i dont know if its an issue or its known but my friends feel that the framerate is a bit low and if its not any connectivity issue i think it really should be noticed. my internet is pretty good and i dont have latency issues but people in the game are moving in a skippy like matter, i mainly play killer and its getting hard to judge if you are in lunge distance and sometimes survivors just disappear once they turn a corner, and i cant imagine how frustrating itd be for survivor if the killer moves in the same way. this is pretty disgusting if its not any connectivity issue.

I think ive heard of a graphic or lighting change recently, im not sure if that has made it worse but ive came back to the game after like a month or two and it does seem like the framerate has gotten worse. I wouldnt know how to fix this since im no game designer or whatever but something should be done about it as pc seems to run very smoothly in comparison, maybe a way to alter graphics or resolution?

Then again i dont even know if this is an issue in the game so thats why im opening this discussion, but ive heard from atleast 10 people who agree, ive even had a toxic survivor who didnt speak english well tell me that i only got him because i lagged xD, i have 60mbps download speed and im connected by a LAN cable so i really doubt im lagging, its only the survivors that seem to move clunkily, my camera seems to move ok, but things like a nurse blink make the framerate a bit wonky but not as noticable. If the framerate is so bad that people think its lag then it should be addressed and sorted.

    Yup it's not great.

If you are on PsPro flip it to 720 or 1080 resolution it helps abit

Nope, the optimization patch we were promised in December wont happen until Spring at the earliest.

The frames are so bad only thing they did was lower the brightness of the game and reduce the killers peripheral view .

FPS in PS4 is in the worst state since I bought the game a year ago. It got even worse after the last patch. Playing killer, every single time I'm about to hit people, frames drop to what looks like 5fps. Whenever the bloodlust effect kicks in (I dislike those useless things, both the status and the effect), the screen just plain freezes for a second. Haddonfield, Springwood and Yamaoka are just a pain to bear, lowest FPS even when not swinging (and missing). And don't even think about playing Doctor...

Besides, half of the time the console sounds like a jet fighter taking off. At first I wasn't experiencing crashes, but they've become more common and I'm starting to get concerned about the software harming the hardware, as some forum members have stated in other threads.

3 more crashes and I'm uninstalling this game for good.

It is improved slightly since the engine update.

I mean it still isn't the way it needs to be, but they are going the right way with it all.
