Why hasn’t merciless storm been kill-switched yet?
It’s a known bug that has been around for awhile now. For those that don’t know if you miss a skill check it decreases the gen to nearly 10% even if you had it at 98% which is around when the merciless storm perk kicks in. Essentially you have to do the gen twice from the bottom up. I’ve also heard you don’t even need to miss the skill check and that it will just count as a miss regardless but I’m not comfortable saying it’s never been my fault ever.
Anyone know why or when this will be fixed?

The main reason is that it doesn't meet the criteria of the Killswitch. Killswitch is for game breaking bugs like Nurse Blinking into the ground or wall getting stuck or Clown Perma Yellow bottle haste. Even perks that caused players to get DCd from the match.
When Oni had his double Blood Orb bug he didn't get KS.

Because they're inconsistent with what they consider game breaking.

Saw MS twice yesterday and this didn't happen. Dropped to the expected 80ish percent.

From what I understand it's not a constant thing there is a step you have to do to get the big to work which again is why it's not KS it's not a game breaking bug.

Wasn’t inner healing kill-switched for a bit though? Something with it activating whenever someone cleansed a totem even if it wasn’t you? I don’t think it was game breaking either but I remember they did turn it off for a bit. I feel like this is a similar but it feels very exploitative.

Conspiracy theory. They leave something broken in the game to make it sell more, especially if licenced. Once sales stop or get reduced by a lot, that's when the fix comes in 😶
