    So the comparisons can be made as such.

    Dead Hard vs. Off the Record

    Unlimited time vs. Limited time

    Can't be cancelled vs. Cancelled with certain actions

    Can be waited out or Mind Gamed vs. Must be brute forced

    Which you see is worth more I imagine would depend mostly on your skill to time a button push/keep an eye on the killers actions and how willing you are to deal with potential latency issues.

    With the new changes

    The new changes will do nothing about why people choose DH over OTR. Everything you listed is relevant with the live version.

    absolutely no reason to not run Off The Record instead

    OTR is a midgame perk and will turn off after 5 gens and conspicuous actions, DH will become mid- and endgame perk which is available if you injured and was hooked for once. The only difference you can’t use DH in your first chase. Everything else has been it in the game for almost a year.
