Depiping is dumb.
I"ve probably made this before but I will say it again. Depipping is dumb and a remnant of an outdated idea. We switched out the old match making into a rewards system I think it's time to tweak that to actually represent....reality? Instead of just being another solo players frustrating mechanic that they don't fully control.
Pretty simple here it not affecting matchmaking anymore means there is no logical reason you should be able to lose pips. I don't know about you guys but a depip for me is absolutely NEVER due to poor play. It's because I got face camped early. It's because my team was abysmal. Or it's because the killer did so bad in a match that we never even got time to earn up any points etc.
Every month as I see my current GOld 3 rank 1 or 2 pips from Gold 2. I eventually lose a pip and think great now I lost credit from that match EARLIER I did great in because why? because this killer in THIS match was really bad? That is super bad logic LOL
Earning 0 pip is fine. But losing them is just dumb. Also IDC about the "it would be too easy" for one no it wouldn't that is still a ton of pips. 2nd difficulty of a task should not be made up of COMLETELY random circumstances that I have absolutely no control over like bad or campy killers and bad teams.

I thing some manner of depping should still be present in the game.
You could punish Dcs with it as well as people who sacrifice themselves on hook.
On the killer side it should punish afking,so there should be a requirement to hook get two hooks for example.
Survivors also shouldn't be able to depip a killer by mass dcing.

That too. THe OTHER players playing like crap or DCing should not impact OUR pips. It just makes no sense.
