Does anyone play dbd from Hawaii?

I have to relocate from NA East to Honolulu Hawaii for 2 years and wanted to know if anyone plays from Hawaii and is willing to share their experience latency wise. Would it be best keeping the steam download region as Honolulu or switching it to NA West, somewhere closest like LA? Been looking everywhere and all I can find are threads from 2016-2018, nothing recent.

    AFAIK the Steam download Region doesn’t influence the DbD server you are being matched onto at all and thus switching these up won’t have any effect on in-game performance/latency

    though I don’t know the DbD server locations and which one would be nearest to Hawaii..
