30 minute DBD writing challenge
So me and my sister did a challenge where we had to make a DBD character in 30 minutes total. We got 20 minutes to write a backstory, then 10 minutes to write 3 perks! Here's mine and if you guys want, join the challenge and add yours below too!
DBD - Huang Zi Xi
Backstory: Huang Zi-Xi was a studious and observant girl growing up. She always liked to watch and just observe the world around her whether that was from the window of her apartment building's lobby, or while watching TV on the local news channel, Huang liked to be in the know. It came as a surprise to no one when after passing the Gaokao exam, Huang began studying to be a news anchor. Reporting real world events, doing big reports, exposing things to the public were all things that sounded right up her alley and to make a living off it was perfect! Having graduated and ready to take on the world, she caught a job as the weather girl of a small news company that only averaged around 2000 viewers per day.
At such a lowly position as weather girl, Huang was determined to rise to the top and after watching countless videos of how beloved female celebrities act, she began to develop a new persona, one that would shape how everyone saw her on TV. The following weeks, Huang would be much more bubbly, cute, and overall just so adorable that the audience simply HAD to share her cute moments. With her new stage name, Stephanie Huang, she had become exotic and lovable by the public. She masqueraded as being born in the states and using her extensive English knowledge, had tricked the audiences into thinking she had been raised there as well before moving to China. Her booming popularity caught the attention of a big time broadcasting station in Chongqing, she was offered a role as a full time reporter. She excitedly accepted the offer and before you know it she had moved into the big city and was anchoring the news every morning.
From 2000 to 2,000,000, Huang or now known as Stephanie, had made it big in the reporting world. One day, her boss came to her with a proposition for a travel/scary piece for October celebrations. She would take an all expenses paid trip to an Island known as Dryer Island to cover a supposedly haunted lab. Willing to take the challenge and a free vacation, Huang graciously accepted the offer and the next week she was on a plane to the island which was located off the coast of India. As she relaxed in the private jet, her phone began buzzing. A strange occurrence as she swore she left it on Airplane mode. She opened it up to see it wouldn’t turn on. She raised an eyebrow and kept trying to turn it on as it wouldn’t stop ringing. As she kept trying, dark clouds began surrounding the jet. Thunder and lightning could be heard as Huang buckled back into her seat.
Lightning struck the plane's wing, causing it to set fire and hurl down into god knows what. Huang braced herself for the impact when suddenly she felt cold air against her skin. She cautiously looked up from her hunched over position. She was now crouching on the ground in the middle of the woods. In front of her, a storehouse with a generator inside of it. She heard a scream off in the distance as a realization hit. Wherever she was, there was a story here, one that only she could bring to light.

Huang Zi-Xi has 3 unique perks
Perk 1: Two Faced - Your surface sweet nature masks a force that no one would ever expect from you. Each time you unhook, complete a full heal, or heal a survivor off the ground, gain a token up to a maximum of 3/4/5 tokens. Each token you have increases the stun duration of your pallet stuns by 10%. After a killer is successfully stunned and you have more than 0 tokens, all your tokens will be spent.
Perk 2: Determination - Your determination shines like a light to other survivors in stressful situations and inspires them to complete their goals. While being chased by the killer, survivors can see your aura within a 50 meter range. If you go down and a survivor can see your aura, they gain a 5/6/7% haste effect and repair generators 4/5/6% faster for 10/12.5/15 seconds.
Perk 3: Undercover Journalist - You’re good at going undercover and to get information. While you’re crouched, if the killer alerts a crow within a 24/36/48 meter range, you’ll receive a loud noise notification. This effect has a 20 second cooldown.

Those perks are really well thought through. Increasing the pallet stun duration is a really cool idea.
I'd love to see a boon perk that affects generator repair time. Something like any generator in the vicinity of the boon, normal skill checks count as great skill checks. The effect lasts for 60 seconds after leaving the boon area.

I don't like "Determination", because why giving them haste and gen speed bonus? Give them healing bonus, or vault speed bonus to give them the oppurtunity for a flashlight save/pallet save. Also, "Two face" is a good idea, but 10% is too much. 5% would be top.
If you don't go into balancing these perks, however, all 3 are great ideas.

The meter range on the last perk makes it almost completely useless. Not to mention up to a 50% increased stun duration from playing the game normally?

Keep in mind was written in less than 10 minutes. Also I think it would actually be kinda rare to get a 5 token stun since stunning killers as is is pretty difficult against like half the roster esp if a killer plays well but also to be able to get 5 unhooks or full heals WITHOUT using a pallet stun? I'd assume on average it would be like 1 or 2 tokens getting use but I see how it could be OP depending on the situation
