Is crouch teching even intended? If not, remove it.
Wow you did a really well thought out mindgame and then you demo shred/Blight rush/Hillbilly sprint resulting in what would usually be a hit. Oops too bad you got crouch teched completely nullifying your outplay. Crouch tech is not healthy for the game at all and it feels horrible to play against. "bUt It AdDs DePtH tO cHaSE wItH mOrE cOuNtErPlAy." No it doesn't, I would love if a dev would comment whether or not this is an intended mechanic or not because having your correct outplay completely nullified by simply crouching does not feel good at all.

Does crouch tech even really work ?
I personally don't try because I don't want killer to think I'm teabagging them.

I've slid off survivors that were crouching as Demo.

Yes, it absolutely works.

how do you suggest removing crouchteching though? because I really feel most ways of getting rid of crouchtech messes with crouching to dodge nemesis and as a petty mf i don't want nemesis players to have anything. blight and billy players don't deserve crouchtech though... maybe demo does though.

It's not that bad verse blight and billy But Verse demo u can use it out in the open and don't require any change in elevation unlike the other 2

You do not need elavation against Billy either. Elevation only makes it easier.

Yes, I'm sure. You can't be crouch teched when you're too close to the survivor when initiating the sprint as the hitbox seems to adjust over a small period of time (seemingly building from the ground up). Also a survivor that is perfectly centered on the Hillbilly's screen can be hit as long as they have their back turned exactly at the chainsaw (not 100% certain on that one because I couldn't reliably replicate it yet). But the slightest inaccuracy will make the chainsaw shave around the survivor's hitbox.
Elevation can guarantee that the Hillbilly will miss you no matter what.
