Can’t we all just agree that the game is still unbalanced & in a bad state?
Games mostly go like this: the survivors get lopsided win and killer gets 3-4 hooks TOTAL, or killer gets lopsided win with 3-4K (10-12 hooks total), and there is rarely much of an in-between. Which means the game is still not balanced well, for various reasons (big maps, bad RNG, low mobility killers, trash killer add ons, trash offerings (mist? Really?), gutted perks etc).
I’m a 50/50 console killer/survivor SoloQ.
As a survivor, Im not a great looper, but I don’t go down (usually) in 10 seconds. If I’m on a competent team, then we’re pretty much going to win.
It’s sad to see killer only get 3-4 hooks TOTAL in some games when they are doing their best. No wonder they DC. Like, ######### is that? How enjoyable is that for the person playing killer? It’s not.
When I play killer today compared to 3 years ago, sure the killer experience is improved, but it’s still the same deal: stress to win against good survivors where you can’t make the smallest mistake , or you steamroll SoloQ.
We can complain about perks getting nerfed all we want, but that’s just ONE part of the overall equation.
Theres so much that needs to be fixed that I don’t see this problem ever being resolved. Of course the asymmetrical aspect doesn’t help matters much.
The only thought I have is to somehow give SWF a penalty or killer a handicap Vs SWF. Like if 3-4 man SWF then killer gets a speed boost (if not named Blight or Nurse). Just a thought.
The survivor HUD is def helping survivors. Killer should have a HUD too.
So on one hand killers need help, and on the other SoloQ needs help.
I know Kill win rates are like 60% but so what? Misleading. How many of those are easy wins against survivors that DC or less skilled solo survivors.

The match can usually be decided within the first few minutes. It's the snowball nature of the game because you can permanently remove players from a match. This causes survivors to rush the objective in order to make sure they have a chance at escape later on. This also causes killers to rush their objective so they can get as many kills as they can to get the "win condition" of 3/4 kills.
