Just wondering, was an explanation ever given as to why Reassurance doesn’t work for basement hooks? As in being able to reassure within the radius without having to actually go into the camped, one shot killer or overly trapped basement?

To me it seems like the perk was designed to ease camping gameplay but for some reason doesn’t work in the most extremes of these cases?

What am I missing? Only thing I can think of is it’s because it can’t reach all basements (like rpd seems further down than others for example) but that doesn’t seem like a good enough reason to disable other basement reassurance potential?

    never had this problem you need to be close to them though or directly above them (there is some space in between the floor and basement)
