Help with Scourge of the Plague Challenge

Hey all,

I am trying to complete the "Scourge of the Plague" challenge in tome 7. The instructions from the challenge are as follows "With a single discharge of the Corrupt Purge action, hit at least 2 survivors as The Plague. Do this 2 times. Complete the challenge in a single trial," but I am running into difficulty. Firstly, I'm not 100% sure I even know what the challenge is asking of me. Is it asking that I hit two people with one stream of Corrupt Purge, or does it mean hit two people during the same Corrupt Purge charge? By charge, I mean the whole time The Plague holds onto the Corrupt Purge until it goes back to Vile Purge.

Anyway, assuming my assumption is right... How do I hit two people at once?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

It's hit two people with one stream. Hook someone near a charged fountain and hit the rescuer and unhooked in one stream just after the unhook and hope they fall for it again. You can also run Discordance and hope you catch a couple at a gen close enough together to hit. There is nearly always a chance of a multihit at the exit gates too.

Hit 2 people with a single stream/charge. This is really easy to do if you just hook someone and wait near it, then as they get unhooked you let it rip and hit them both.

Thanks for the suggestion of proxy camping the hook to get a two-fer. Is there a technique I should be going for?
