what is happening?
9/10 games Killer is either hard tunneling or camping at 5 gens it was already like that after the big change to the perks but after the last patch it really became worse. i never experienced that in my 5k hours...
tunneling and camping was always a thing sure but after that patch its just every game like that from the start and i have no clue what is going on.
are killers insecure more then before because their Gen kick meta is gone?
i really do not enjoy playing survivor anymore seriously.
i play killer without gen regression and im doing well tbh.
But survivor... hell no... its just boring, frustrating and just makes me mad most of the time.
i dont know what is going on but one is for sure if we have these boring games every game then i guess taking a break till the next mid chapter.

Given the recent reactivity of BHVR I'm guessing you'll have to take a break longer than just one chapter. Tunneling and camping have been rampant for at least 1 year without a change. Maybe they'll be addressed by 2030 for the two solo Q players that are left.
Looking at the last 2 patches, we've had first, one game-breaking bug with Sloppy Butcher, then once that got fixed, one game-breaking bug with Merciless Storm. Both bugs took more than a month to get addressed despite the game having a killswitch feature. Then, in the last patch, they managed somehow to buff Nurse and Artist while nerfing Billy and Clown. Don't know about you but that does not make me very optimistic.

Mostly this. Many think they lost their favorite toy that they used as a crutch, so now they're relying on tunnel/camp as the new crutch.
On the bright side, if it keeps up the track record shows that they will somehow nerf camp tunnel. THAT would be an interesting train wreck.

my post isnt about why killers are camping tunneling its about why they at the sudden do it in a very hardcore way when there are 5 gens at 0%
the most hated perk what used to extend chases is gone, healing 10x per match is gone... so you would think that killers got everything they wanted but they play more scummy then before.
and dont come with "im the killer, i have to kill, and im gonna do it at every possible way even if another human has to suffer from my scummy and boring strat"
for me all that feels like that Killer players want to abuse the strength in every possible way. since there is literally no defense for tunneling. oh yeah... the 2sec ds :D

Am I really the only one who thinks that survivors are in a pretty good spot right now? Over the last few days I escaped almost every game. I had some good soloQ team mates (some less good ones as well) and the killers couldn't compete (except for 1 hard tunneling Plague with double iri addons). I am not even the best looper but I can at least get my team enough time to slam some gens.
I can't blame killers for tunneling (or survivors for gen rushing) when that's their only chance to compete with their opponents. It's not nice but until the game's balance is shifted more towards spreading pressure this is going to stay the way it is now.

If they were going to do it they would of done it by now. Their too scared to lose the player base that relies on it every game.

I played an hour of survivor today and had to get off. Every killer, including top level ones like Nurse and Blight, were just tunneling their butts off or proxy camping and then tunneling.

Hmm... I wonder why people would choose to do that.
You can camp/tunnel to give yourself a greater chance of winning while having survivors be big sad at you OR you can play in a really nice 12 hook attempt way, have multiple survivors escape, and have those same survivors teabag you in the exit gate and tell you gg ez baby killer.
I know which one I would pick.
