Problems with Bloodweb Auto Buy

Hey,

Just wondering if anyone else is having trouble with the bloodweb auto buy feature? It shows up for most of my killers, but some don't have it. Some older killers and some newly bought ones.

A bug? Is there a fix?

    I had that problem myself, the thing did show up when started up a new lvl 1 bloodweb after a +1 prestige.

    If I recall there was mention of it only being available if a character was prestiged at least once. Could that be it?

    Yeah, for some reason they decided the autobuy only becomes available for any character after their first prestige.

    It's mentioned in the Patch Notes and in March's Developer Update that the Automated Purchase is only available once a character is prestiged once:

    I still think that should not be a case once you have a single character prestiged. Like, when Renato and Thalita came out, why can't I use it on them when I have EVERY OTHER CHARACTER at least 3 prestige, most 9+? I get that the idea is for you to become "familiar with the bloodweb" but.. pretty sure I'm familiar with how the bloodweb works now. I could MAYBE see it on a new killer as they do have different things in their bloodwebs in their addons, but overall I still think once you have a survivor at least to Prestige 1, you don't need to become familiar with every character's bloodweb, as they are literally exactly the same (and no the existence of 3 new perks isn't IMO enough to need you to become familiar with how the bloodweb works all over again.)

    This should be available at all times, regardless of whether a character is prestige or not. Like, is BHVR against people having choices?

    I would like to have it availiable all times too. I often buy a new character just for his perks. So I need to get them to prestige 1 at least without even playing them.

    Even though you can't auto buy before prestige 1, you can still "multi buy" where you click on a faraway node and it buys everything along the track. That will get you to prestige 1 pretty darn quickly, so I don't think it's a huge deal.

    For clarity, the option to auto-buy specific nodes is open at all times. It's only the auto buy the whole bloodweb that's locked behind P1

    I think, particularly for killers, you’d want to see what you’re actually buying if they’re new to you.
