Sounds like a horrible idea. You need to be certain distance from killer (0 distance does not work). You need to be close enough. You need to be facing killer. You need to spend time going for the flash save (be in right position). Why would you also need to have whole beam on killer? That makes no sense - it's already punishing enough as is.
