Life Giver challenge - not progressing with co-op heals

I'm on PS4. Working on the Life Giver archive challenge (Heal a total of 5 health states of any Survivor) in level 2 of the current Tome. I wasn't running any healing perks. I had just unhooked a teammate. Myself and another teammate healed the injured teammate but I didn't receive any progress towards my challenge on the heal. In same match I received progress in the challenge while recovering on the ground. In previous and following matches I received progress when I healed another survivor by myself.
Steps to recreate.
1. Play on PS4 with Life Giver challenge from level 2 of current Tome equipped.
2. Unhook a survivor, heal them with another survivor.
