Developers can't control the playstyle of certain players ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Yeah, nobody defends her design.
She's pretty much the only Killer I support being given the old Freddy treatment

I'm starting to think that a part of the problem are bad players. Same was with the knight - people crappy at playing killer could only come up with him being good for face camping.
I'm not defending SM, cause I still think she's the worst designed killer in the game, but I've caught two games with her yesterday (gotta grind that rift) and her drones (with addons) offer some passable anti loop capability.

Not even, she just needs the instadown removed and make her stealth more meaningful.
Lock on could instead build up faster and put a Claw Trap onto a Survivor. This would make the threat of it all the same whether youre healthy or injured but not feel as frustrating as the current instadown which feels undeserved 90% of the time

It takes like 10 seconds to build up that exposed, she should never get it as long as you leave the drone's area. I've only gotten the exposed about 2 or 3 times because folks just leave high tail it out of the loop.
I'm not saying it shouldn't be removed or anything, I think it severely borks her power budget and the space could be used to giving her a fun chase aspect to her power or boost her stealth, yet if someone actually gets downed from the exposed feels pretty earned. An unforced error is still and error, you know.
