Pig's Combat Straps Add-On possibly bugged on Switch and other platforms?

I don't know if this is just an issue for me but I've noticed the combat straps add on for pig is not working as intended for Nintendo Switch and maybe other platforms? It says "Increases crouching and uncrouching speed by 30%" but when I have used them it only did the normal crouch speed. Normal gameplay of me crouch/uncrouching regularly only uses the crouch speed without the add on. Has this occurred to other Pig mains/players?
