PC - Only able to deploy one drone as skullmerchant on RPD

-booted up game as normal
-clicked killer then skull merchant after selecting a bloodpoint gathering archive
-loaded into lobby, game sent us to rpd
-spawned on second floor in library, went to ledge overlooking main and placed drone
-fell down to main floor and went through right hallway
-option to place drone never appeared, never appeared until I hooked someone by the drone causing it to return
-placed new drone down at exit gate, went to other gate and the option never appeared to place drone
-tried placing drone without the prompt just in case it was just the prompt missing
would add picture of after match, including all players perks items and add ons for extra info if needed but, permission problem.
