This a great precedent setter.

Can't get Nancy from Nightmare on Elm Street due to licensing issues? Just get Heather Langenkamp the actress.

Repeat that for any survivor you want from a horror property DbD can't get.

Bring me Heather Langenkamp, Ashley Laurence, Matthew Lillard, Neve Campbell, etc.

I'm ready for it!

    My only concern is that they would end up bringing in actors who's either not very iconic or is unrelated to the horror genre.

    That, and that they might end up prioritizing getting actors in over getting any of the highly requested licensed characters people have been asking about for years now.
