Should I put beginner players and skilled players in the same match? Please answer BHVR.
Yes→You don't have to do anything. No → Get MMR working ASAP and display ratings that only the players themselves can see so they can trust us. Who benefits now that MMR is not working? Novice players get bullied and skilled players get bored. Has anyone ever won 1,000 games in a row in Bright? I only know DBD as a fighting game that allows such a thing. At least that wouldn't happen if MMR was working.

Any examples?
I also was put to play against newbies when I played Huntress. That being said, I haven't played Huntress for a long time and every killer has their own MMR so maybe it... degraded?

Ok, let me get my two cents in real quick.
MMR is trash. It basically doesn't exist, and I doubt I'm making the hottest take on the planet by saying that.
HOWEVER.
I recently started playing the game on the Switch
because I bought it on the switch for cross saves and it's obvious that it's not going to happenand I can say for certain that MMR does at the very least separate new players from veteran players. The problem comes from the fact that while as Killer you only have yourself to affect your rank, your rank as a survivor depends significantly on your team. And because the only thing that affects your rank is escaping for who the hell knows why, you're effectively caught in a spiral of constantly being paired with newer players while you have every perk unlocked.
Every once in a while the game screws up and you're faced with a damn good killer alongside rock for brain teammates, but it's pretty rare.
