The problem with subtle hacking and blatant hacking
So DBD goes in waves in which I do pretty well at about a 50% kill rate through a couple months so it isn't just hitting higher MMR but I will start to see more and more weird things like generators being untouched when I am there and finished before I walk to the next one. Survivors in chase breaking line of sight and losing any blood trails pain grunts or scratch marks without being healed ad having had them before, and no not lucky break or parental guidance. I have also been playing for years, it's not corner tech. then these incidents get more and more common, then I run into these blatant cases like this one from today. https://youtu.be/UMLxG29KGC0 and when I am having issues with the subtle hackers forums posts always yield accusations of me making it up. By the way the suggestion of just record all the matches isn't reasonable to me because HD space means I have to end and start it between every match and delete the video and this literally kills all the fun of it. I hate having to do this and often the subtle cheating isn't easy to prove. This is a pattern of waves. Behavior crushes hackers for now, then the hackers get around the cheat detection and start subtle hacking. Then the blatant hackers show up and I am sure they are subtle hackers who decided to be obvious as a way to ruin the other side's day because they think it's funny.
Then we have an issue with the ticket system in which it won't let you upload videos because it times out before the video finishes uploading. I would like to see something implemented that could help with the reporting of the subtle cheaters and it's something that has been suggested before and for more reasons than just this. We need a replay system in DBD. The replays could be submitted rather than videos, this would record simply the XYZ positions of each person, the action state of said individuals, IE repairing, healing etc. The progress of said action for instance how healed you are or are not and any buffs or debuffs in effect. This information can then be read and rendered by the client and viewed from any perspective or free-camera. you don't have to save the fully rendered game but the relevant data can be relatively small. This would also allow runbacks of matches so you can see how you were countered or how you did something well and learn and improve, this was a big part of how I got better at League of legends.

I have bad news. It is very likely that this thread will be deleted soon as it is a very sensitive subject. I agree with you but there are reasons why it is so cumbersome to make a cheat report. I can't name this because it could very likely lead to a ban.

Hackers are common in DBD!
There used to be more obvious hackers, nowadays they are much more subtle and try to hide their hacks.
According to the BHVR, more than 60,000 accounts were banned in 2022 alone.
This is an impressive and outstanding achievement.
However, it must also be said that the reporting system is very time-consuming and cumbersome. On average, it takes more than 20 minutes to create a complete report (incl. ticket and video proof). A good automated cheat protection would be much more pleasant and better for the end customer.
However, that would also be safer and would give the cheater/hacker fewer opportunities to use the cheats.
What one must not forget here: cheaters are also customers
Some of those 60,000 banned accounts may consider buying a new account, which costs at least 10 bucks and that sums up.
In the end, it's always about sales and profits(MONEY), and that's also the reason why you shouldn't expect any changes in this and similar topics in the near future. This is not a guess but a sad fact.
