Shadow Nerf instead of Bug fixing?

I used DH when Wesker hit me against a wall with his ability but still I landed on his shoulder.
Normally DH protected you and lead to a bug were it looked like the Survivor is driving a car.
Seems like instead of fixing this bug they changed it that DH won't save you against Weskers ability anymore :/

Nah wesker atm is bugged so his little tentacle slap just doesn't happen, which is what would happen with DH (or if he got you mid vault). Now everything just looks scuffed
