And until we fix this issue, we recommend that players with photosensitivity, or who have an epileptic condition or have had seizures of any kind consult their physician before playing.
Genuinely curious as to why Xbox was ostracized from the anonymous mode feature.
It’s been well over a month since Switch and PS was given access to the feature. I’ve been in many games recently where every player except me was using anonymous mode. It’s uncommon now to find any match without at least one person using the feature.
Can us Xbox players get some specifics as to why it’s still not available for Xbox or Windows Store? Preferably more in depth than the same old ‘it interferes with blocking functionality’ reason, as this was the same reason given to PS and Switch, yet they now have access to the feature.

We cannot override platform specific features with our anonymous mode, so the feature is not available there.

But that was the same reason given to PS and Switch. What changed with those platforms to allow the feature?

Sony and Nintendo probably approved of it, whereas Microsoft did not.

Us Xbox players would like specific details as to why, not speculation regardless of how sound it may be. I appreciate the comment though.
