Been Playing the Game for 5 Years
It's just not fun anymore. Tunneling at 5 gens every single game, and I'm over it. IDC about your opinion on the matter. I'm so done.

I am sad that a game I have played ALMOST daily for 5 years has become unbearably miserable for me. I am allowed to grieve for that.

Five years is a long time. Five years ago was 2018, think about how much you've changed since then, I know I've changed a lot.
No shame in moving on, you got five years worth of enjoyment out of it.

Hey, I'm not the grief police, you can grieve whatever you want. It's just weird to share your opinion and then say you're not interested in other's opinions. If you're that miserable take a break. Playing something daily for 5 years is enough to make anyone miserable regardless of the game. Games are fun, and if you have burnout from a game then a break is definitely warranted.

After a six month break I came back to spirit pretend humping my slugged cartoon character after having bled everyone dry in round 1. Round 2 spirit was farming. There's fun to be had in between there somewhere.

i think it might be time for you to move on, find another game that you can easily become passionate about the way you did with dbd!

No, not because I will last for this long. I already stopped for a year and I'm planning to do that once more when the last challenge page opens and I complete it.

What game are you playing? Dbd has had some serious balancing issues throughout 2023, playing killer is so incredibly boring because of how ez it is to get a 4k.

Oh it's funny only to those fresh eyes that can see the humor in it but six months ago this is the same behaviour that sent me on my break. Breaks help but in the end, with no internal community health boost from developers this stuff just gets real old real fast. Personally I'm glad the community as well as I can still lol though.

I'm Loling because if anyone is "Quiting DbD" or "I'm leaving DbD for good".....why announce it. I never did a huge announcement when I stopped playing DbD.
It's one thing to let out steam and saying your grievances about the game, the path it's taking, etc.....but saying I'm leaving DbD and then saying I don't care about your opinions in a PUBLIC DISCUSSION forum is more akin to wanting attention rather than saying goodbye forever.
