Rift dissapears and loses progression

Steps: Select challenge
Do challenge
At score screen the rift drop down doesn't appear
Any progress on challenge is lost (Lost white glyph progress and all of life giver progress0
Have to exit to menu to see rift
Restarting temporarily fixes issue but you don't get the lost progress back
Happened twice out of the last 3 challenges completed
