PC-Windows Store- Cannot Find Crossplay Friends

in Bug Reporting

So im on windows store version of DBD and my friends are both on steam version of it. I read that you can play with and add friends from steam even though I am on the windows version but everytime i search their name nothing works.

I put down For example ChadRoach#1234 into the search bar

ive also put down just 1234

and tried just ChadRoach. I dont know why I cant find them. I really hope someone can help me out asap

    I'm having the same issue on PS5 when searching for anything in "Search for a Friend". It just spins and spins with no results even 10 minutes later. I hope it gets fixed.

    EDIT: BHVR tweeted that they are aware of the issue and are actively working on resolving it.
