The match make system makes no sense.

I am on a fresh account on gamepass pc because progress doesnt save over console and pc and was getting people who were too good for the rank of ash 4 like last night i got gen rushed on ash 4. i dont understand so can someone help me.

    Ranks don’t exist anymore, they have been replaced by Grades, and your grade does not have anything to do with matchmaking.

    there is an invisible score (called MMR) which is used for matchmaking, it’s being determined by your escapes/kills and gets adjusted after every match to a little bit. For the very first matches, your score gets adjusted by every outcome greater to get you quicker to a level you should be.

    thats.. the theory. In praxis, the matchmaking favours short lobby times and doesn’t do a good job at all.
