rant: unbreakable is stupid and I hate it
For value, you just need to be slugged. Thats literally it. If he goes to snowball downs then you just win the game. Not to mention that snowballing is actually skillful, meanwhile UB is just more BS for survivors to deny a kill with. Its literally just adrenaline but braindead skilless.
A child could get unbreakable value. Because all of the things that happen for unbreakable value dont happen because the survivor did somethign special. In fact, UB value happens often bc the survivor let the killer snowball their down into more. Meaning UB takes away a killers hook for... losing the game? Adrenaline can also pick you up, but it requires the gens to get done and surviving until that point. Unbreakable gets value just because the killer is better than you.
- Wesker downs you
- Chases meg bc she has a flashlight
- Downs meg early and sees an injured nea closeby
- Turns out both nea and david were chilling and he gets them both
- Everyone is down. This happened because you went down, then meg got greedy for the flashlight save, nea didnt play safe while inujured, and nea and david were grouped up.
- If you or meg have UB, the killer loses. And if nea or david have it its 50/50 between if you get to use it.
Skillful things occurring in this scenario as survivor: Losing the game, letting the killer snowball, playing greedily, grouping up, and going down to begin with.
Skillful things as killer: Chaining multiple chases together, downing people quickly, taking the risk to snowball and being skilled enough for it to pay off.
Result? Survivors win, killer gets 1-2 hooks. You see, one of the survivors is so cracked that they can equip a perk. And then, when they lose the game, they can hold a button for about 25s. And boom! They get rezed, nd are off to res everyone else.

You took the risk to slug and they made you pay. You lost one game big deal. You will probably win the next 9

Im with you man, I can have it on 15 games stright and only use it once on average.

god forbid I get annoyed that one of the strongest perks in the game is braindead skilless.

Like many perks are skilled lol.
It's also not that strong

fair enough lol
on most tier lists I see it pretty high up, might just be the ones im seeing

You left the survivor on the ground long enough for them to use it. Thats on you. Never thought I'd see someone complain about a perk that only works if you let it work.

It’s a risk you need to be willing to take, just like it’s a risk for the survivors to bring UB in the first place. The perk will work like once every ten games at best.

It works like Deliverance.
It's good...in theory.
In practice, you don't get value from it often.

first point is good, second point = "eruption was balanced, just dont go down or wait it out"

I mean in this case, you are greedy as well.
You down X survivor.
Then you saw Meg with flashlight and got her down. Now you would hook Meg but you did not.
Why? Because injured Nea looked tasty, didn't she? You wanted more.
You wanted more and cuz that you punished by UB.

I dunno, I’m about as killer-biased as someone can be but I honestly don’t have an issue with Unbreakable as it is.

Slugging would be far, far too strong if Unbreakable didn't exist. It's a necessary evil, even if it sometimes can feel like you get robbed by it.

Ragebait? Not many run it, I slug rarly and never lost anything, when it was in play.

UB can only activates once, doesn't seems to be that good tbh.

when i started reading i thought you are complaining it is way too conditional and hate it as a survivor because i do, you get value from it once out of 10 games maybe. it is strong, but that's the general idea for most strong survivor perks: you get no value from ds/otr if killer doesnt tunnel, no value from ub if they don't slug, no value from reassurance if they don't camp etc. ub has guaranteed value only on coordinated at least 3 man swfs and that's it.
as people said above, it is a risk you take when deciding to slug and otherwise this perk has no use.

If it worked more than once per match, then I'd have an issue with it.
The perk is designed to stop a snowball. That's its job. Most times UB is run the killer doesn't slug and gets no value. Killers have many ways to work around a possible UB.
As the others have said, that's the risk when you slug.

How many killer perks require skill?
And lol perks that do take skill or are fun to use Always get complained about and nerfed.
It's a casual game, chill. Go play something else if you get this mad over a party game with meat hooks.

I don’t think I’ve seen Unbreakable ran or provide value in a loooong time. Tbh that boon perk is somewhat better but even that sucks b/c killers don’t typically leave survivors slugged long enough for these things to work.

Slugging is supposed to be high risk high reward.
If it didn't have any risk then hooking survivors would be useless.
