Keeping the theme of being a visual perk, I was thinking of having this give the survivors the effect they have when in Dredge's nightfall or Freddy's dream state, where they have the whitish glow essentially giving the survivors a greater visual contrast from environmental objects.

Hard to say if this would work out in practice, but in my head it would continue to act as a 'feel good' perk while being nothing overpowered.
