Why is nurses hitbox so bad after she blinks?

Everyone complains about how wonky huntresses hatchet hitbox is but personally I think nurse is way more inconsistent. I've had times where she's either just out of arms reach or even a mile away after she blinks and yet somehow still manages to hit me.


And no, it's nothing to do with ping. I have under 40 ms and to see if it was anything to do with ping I tested it out with a friend who also had extremely good internet connection. Half the hits looked fine but the other half looked like she was swatting away a fly and somehow hitting me.


Anyone else feel the same?

    Even your ping is great, this does not mean killer has good ping.

    But yeah, i hate Nurse's hitboxes as well. I understood your point, her hits so annoying sometimes.

    It has to be something to do with how small her weapon is. Only killer that feels terrible to get hit by regardless of ping.

    Same reason as Freddy's short arms, animation (+ killer and your ping and the wonderfully coded hit validation system)

    It's not just nurse, it's most short weapon killers. Ghost face and Legion always seem to make hits that are nowhere near. I think the hit boxes accommodate for long range weapon killers like Knight and Oni regardless of who you play as.

    I suspect that blink locations and hit calculations are affected by map geometry or camera placement, there's been plenty of times where my attack is so stubby it feels like it's coming out from behind me, and other times where I feel like I'm jousting.
