Singularity: infecting mid-chase is extremely awkward and unintuitive
Singularity feels awkward in chase because you cannot quickly apply slipstream. Shooting a biopod with LoS, reorientating yourself, and looking at a survivor for three seconds is incredibly unintuitive. Not to mention that all that effort can just be EMPed away with extreme ease. EMPs are a sore spot for many players, I feel like this would significantly reduce the frustration that they can induce. That awkwardness aside, EMPs feel good and right where they should be should Singularity's QoL be improved.
It would be a good idea to look into allowing Singularity to directly apply slipstream by shooting an uninfected survivor with a biopod. Immediate overclock could be an issue, but it may be worth the extra effort of designing a mechanic to prevent this without adding a mountain of cooldowns like with Twins.
btw, love the design and feel of Singularity and it's awesome that its gameplay appeals to a more niche crowd. Kinda stinks that I'm not one of those players, but I'm very happy for them. Crazy depth, interesting add-ons, and a seemingly very high skill ceiling makes this killer an amazing inclusion I'm excitied to see more of.
